Sundance Apartments, 77-79 Banks Road, Sandbanks, Poole

Situated in a prime beachfront location at the Sandbanks Peninsula, Poole, Dorset, and with direct access to this exclusive stretch of beach via a private gate, the Sundance Apartment building provides luxurious sunset views of both Poole Harbour and the Sandbanks beach. This means an unobstructed view from all the apartments’ rooms is an absolute must for its residents.

Due to the importance of the premium quality and finish that was needed, the balconies’ glass replacement quality was an obvious priority within the 2019 major premium refurbishment project. Therefore, Kite Glass was approached to manufacture and supply 218 toughened glass panels to be used across all floors of this four-storey building, with the following specification breakdown:

• 154 panels of 21.5mm clear toughened laminated glass with a PVB interlayer
• 51 panels of 25.5mm toughened laminated glass with PVB and 65% LT diffuser for privacy screens, and
• 19 panels of 15mm toughened clear glass

All of the glass panels provided were polished all round with 5mm radius corners.
